We are delighted to announce that we will be joined by former professional footballer and media personality, Mark 'Lawro' Lawrenson.

During the 1970s and 1980s Mark played for many teams, most notably as Liverpool Football Club's key defender - signed for a club record fee and the most expensive defender in Britain! A key member of the double winning squad in 1986, he was forced to retire through injury in 1988 but used his considerable knowledge and experience to become a highly-respected sports journalist and long-standing member of the BBC’s Match of the Day team.

An engaging speaker, with an illustrious sporting career, this promises to be an exciting and inspirational event, not to be missed!

We sincerely hope that you will be able to join us to support the fantastic work by SportsAid Eastern, who provide financial awards to over 1,000 young athletes every year.
