In response to Prime Minister Rishi Sunak's announcement of a General Election on July 4th, we are delighted to inform you that MKBLP will hold a hustings event on Thursday 20th June, commencing at 18:00, at a venue in Central Milton Keynes.

Ahead of this engaging forum, we have secured the attendance of candidates from most of the major political parties in Milton Keynes and are currently in talks with one remaining one.  Information on each of these will be shared over the coming weeks. 

We are hoping that this will provide an invaluable opportunity for the business community to hear directly from our prospective party candidates about their policies and visions for the future. 

MKBLP members will be given a priority invitation on a first-come, first-served basis, before the event is opened to the wider business community. However, we are keen to make this event as inclusive as possible, and there should be enough space for everyone.

Event timings will be:

  • 18:00 - meet and network
  • 18:55 - panel members take their seats
  • 19:00 - introductions
  • 19:15 - start of the debate
  • 20:45 (ish) - conclude debate
  • 20:45 – 21.30 - more networking

 

Please note that attendance to this event is strictly by pre-arrangement only. For security and catering reasons, no one will be allowed to attend that has not pre-registered. This will be strictly enforced. Official Photo ID (Passport or driving licence) will be requested upon your arrival.
