Entries for the 2020 Milton Keynes Business Achievement Awards (MKBAA) will close on 21 November. Proving increasingly popular, we have already received a record number of entries for the forthcoming awards, and over 750 leading business people from the area are expected to join the annual celebration which will take place on 12 March at Marshall Arena.

Over the years MKBAA has played a pivotal role ensuring the future prosperity of businesses and professionals within the city, reaching across all business communities and capturing the very best that Milton Keynes has to offer.

Previous award winners have cited a higher number and calibre of applicants for jobs, a boost in staff morale and an increase in business prospects, as just a few of the outcomes of winning a Milton Keynes Business Achievement Award. All of this contributes to the health and wellbeing of our great city, its residents, businesses and workforce – the key focus of the 2020 awards.

Cultivating the health and prosperity of the wider business network of Milton Keynes is at the very heart of MKBLP, and we are encouraging as many MKBAA entrants as possible to ensure businesses across the city continues to thrive.

Critical to the success of MKBAA is the sponsors and, in particular, the four headline sponsors who give their time, expertise and financial backing to help locally owned businesses and charities raise their profile, increase their networks and create more opportunities to engage with the Milton Keynes Business Community.

This year we announced that Shoosmiths, one of the UK’s leading national law firms, joins KPMG, The Open University and MK Council in headlining the MKBAA 2020 awards.

Robin Webb, Head of Shoosmiths’ Milton Keynes office and Partner explains: “As a UK law firm with a long-established office in the heart of Milton Keynes, we are excited to be involved in MKBAA 2020, having watched it steadily grow in popularity and credibility over the past few years. We’re really looking forward to finding out more about the hard work and resulting successes of local businesses within the region and joining them to celebrate their achievements at the awards ceremony next March.”

As well as four headline sponsors, MKBAA receives much appreciated support from its 13 category sponsors and event sponsors.
