Double Queen’s Award success for MKBLP Member

Congratulations to MKBLP Member, Niftylift who has won two prestigious Queen’s Awards for Enterprise.

Not only are these awards two of the UK’s highest accolades for business success, but this is the second time Niftylift has received the double gong, having won in 2013, making them the first company to win the same two awards, twice!

The awards recognises Niftylift’s Innovation and International Trade successes:

Queen’s Award for Enterprise - Innovation

This award recognises companies that have demonstrated commercial success through innovative products and is given to Niftylift for the design, development and manufacture of its 28m Hybrid work platform (the HR28 Hybrid 4x4). Launched as the world’s tallest electric work platform, this state-of-the-art product combines market-leading performance with innovative safety features and an environmentally conscious power plant.

Queen’s Award for Enterprise - International Trade

This award recognises companies that have demonstrated consistent growth in overseas sales over a six-year period and is given to Niftylift in recognition of outstanding achievement in export sales, with an average increase over that period of 132%.

A hugely successful global company, Niftylift has facilities in South Yorkshire, Germany and South Carolina however it employs more than 400 people from Milton Keynes and its surrounding areas at its two city based offices. MKBLP member Roger Bowden, who founded Niftylift in 1985, comments: “We are honoured to be recognised for not one, but two prestigious Queen’s Awards for Enterprise in 2019. These awards help to illustrate how our dedication to design and innovation, together with our attention to detail and strong customer focus, have allowed us to compete so successfully in this global marketplace.”

Niftylift will be presented with the Queen’s Awards on 20th December 2019.
